View the full article Hmmm, maybe we here on the other side of the pond (i.e. the USA) need the "Motorcycle Action Group" to get to work on the other 48 states other than California and Utah, to convince authorities that lane splitting is actually safer in traffic than waiting to be rear ended by a cage or truck, while being a "good little motorcyclist". 🙄 Even Utah's restrictive law (i.e. 15 MPH max speed, car being bypassed must be completely stopped, etc.) is better than the rest of the USA. Don’t forget that it’s only filtering in Utah (as you said, between stopped lines of traffic) and then only on surface streets marked at 45mph or less. Link to comment
