Remus exhaust walks down the head pipe.

My Remus exhaust walks off the head pipe and I have to loosen the clamp, push it forward and re-tighten the clamp. The clamp is as tight as I can get it. Is this common? It is not in any danger of coming completely off but will slide the pipe enough (1/2 inch) that the muffler hangs crooked. I have to mess with it once or twice a year. The engine is tuned well and runs with little or no vibration. Heck it has even stopped using oil!

It sounds like you didn't remove the conical shaped spacers from the clamp. Please do and you should have no problem, at least I haven't.
