Sargent questions

I just bought a Sargent saddle and I noticed it sets a little lower than the stock seat. With the stock saddle I looked just over the top of the Puig shield. I need to extend to see over with Sargent or use it in the tall position. Anybody else notice the same?

Is it the low version Sargent?
