They are short destination routes, apart from the river loop. Quick Scenic Loop 27.6miles This is a great shirt, twisty and hilly route just outside Canaan Valley. This is the route I featured on the first Canaan Valley Video. NOTE! There is a TIGHT left turn that brings you along the river – USE CAUTION! Blackwater Falls and BBQ 15.2miles A Route takes you to the Blackwater Falls State Park and parking area for the famous Falls Overlook. From there the route continues to Blackwater State Park Lodge, which has a great view and BBQ. Blackwater Falls Lodge to CV 13.2miles B Return route to Canaan Valley CV To Elkins El Gran Sabor 31.7 miles A Direct route to the well regarded Venezuelan Restaurant. While this is a ‘direct route” – you’ll get plebty of twisties in! This may be a good Wednesday Dinner option, when many locals are closed.
