Crowbar
I have always used Etymotic earbuds, but they no longer make that fat tips that fit my large ears perfectly. Does anybody else use an earbud that seals large ear canals? Sound quality is important and price not an issue. Thanks in advance for any help. Link to comment
Bill Murray
I was a user Etymotic earbuds (the 6i's). I especially liked the soft three-flanged ear tips that came with them. I have small ear canals and mushroom-head style ear tips simply do not work for me. When I had to replace them, the Etymotic 6i's were no longer available. I began buying and trying several replacement earbuds, but I was never able to find a great solution. I eventually settled on an inexpensive set of inexpensive Phillips earbuds that have decent audio quality for me (especially since I now suffer from hearing loss in one ear due to a neurological condition). The trick for me in achieving a great fit was to discard the ear tips provided with the ear buds and install my own ear tips. Assuming you want to use soft, flanged ear tips, you can purchase these on Amazon. I found ear tip set designed with either a 2mm or 4mm inside diameter, depending on what your ear bud requires. The tip set comes with a couple of sizes (small, medium, and large). Here are links to the ear buds and ear tips on Amazon. bendbill
I like this company, though you might not want a complete kit for use with an i-pod. Great sound qualit,y and they seal out road/air noise https://earinc.com/custom-fit-insta-mold/ Link to comment
Lowndes
Etymotics or S-plug work very well for me: Etymotics: https://www.amazon.com/Etymotic-Research-Performance-Compatible-Assortment/dp/B081VWJG6N/ref=sr_1_4?crid=19YSONF5YUDWN&keywords=ER2SE+Earphones&qid=1655549653&sprefix=er2se+earphones%2Caps%2C79&sr=8-4 S-plugs: https://www.plugup.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=S+22-3.5-4.5 Call Marilyn and discuss your needs with her. Super helpful, and very "motorcycle-needs" knowledgeable. Link to comment
The Rocketman
S-Plugs work great for me. If you get them, ask Marilyn to add strain relief to the wires. They'll last longer. 1 Link to comment

cyclingkk
I've got S-Plugs dual driver and RiderBuds for sale. These are both good options, but I'm not riding right now so...PM me, if interested. Link to comment
don v
I have used earbuds for many years. Good sound depends on a good fit and finding the right size tip that fits your ear canal. On my bikes I mostly use Shure 215 earbuds because they have a cable end that will conform over your ear and will stay put when you use a helmet liner. I also use Comply ear tip that come in different sizes and fit different manufactures earbuds. A little trial and error will get you the sound you want and save your ears from road noise. Happy hunting. Link to comment
TracerBullet
Another vote for the Shure earbuds. Unless you are going to go custom, that's a whole other discussion Link to comment
