upflying Posted May 27, 2006 Share Posted May 27, 2006 My bike has always had a smooth, buttery engagement feel towards the end of the travel of the clutch lever. It has never slipped or given any indication of trouble. I would characterize my clutch as having a "wide gray area". The other day, I started and moved a friends 2000 R1100RT-P and immediately stalled the engine. I found the clutch engagement profile opposite of my bike. The clutch engaged abruptly in the middle of the clutch lever movement with little "gray area", hence the reason for the stall. What is the normal clutch feel on R1100's? Link to comment
