Either way, apart from the GREAT Riding and the Great People who will be here on-site for the UnRally, what about the immediate area? Where's the nearest gas, off site food, beer/liquor, groceries? Well... I'm glad you asked! This is the place for that and more. I'm at Canaan Valley RIGHT NOW - and here's my view at 6:30, as I sample the complimentary coffee in the lobby (while Mrs. Indy Dave continues her well deserved slumber). I had higher hopes of posting while here, but to do it "right" (somewhat logical and orderly) will require a bit more screen time than I have while we were here. We leave this morning and will be without cell service for the most part for the next 2 nights. With that said - Blackwater Falls State Park is just up the road and has the wait for it . . . Falls! It also has a BBQ joint in the lodge, which overlooks the river and valley. 6 Link to comment

Turn up your YouTube resolution - it seems to default to a low res fuzy picture. Here's a quick trip out of the park - with a few important locations called out, and then - a we're out of the park, and a mile down the road, we hit the fun stuff right off!
