When my wife and I first lived together a young guy (who I remember *seeming* young at the time, but in retrospect must have been within a few years of my age) came up to our door selling magazine subscriptions. His pitch was, "It's cheap and easy - just like an ex-girlfriend." For some reason, my wife was unimpressed by that line and we did not buy any subscriptions.
