Nice write up with helpful tips on installing LED's for RT's

 

Just "cross pollinating" good info from the bmwlt.com site.  Some of his tips are excellent!

 

I figure his instructions would work for Wetheads, as well.   (I've also heard that Shiftcams now come with LED's, but I'm guessing that that mod came with the 2021-2022 frame mode, and that the lights on the 2019-2020's are similar if not identical to the Wetheads.  Not sure, but ... this guy had a Shiftcam, so much for the disclaimer.

Just swapped the OEM bulbs for the Cyclops LEDs last night.  Lots of bolts/screws and associated panels to remove the headlight assembly but not terribly difficult.  It took about 5 hours to complete including a dinner break and removing the speakers and upper fairings twice because I forgot a bolt/screw on each side.  Pretty happy with the brightness and color.
