Scott9999
I thought that I read that for the 2017-2018 model wetheads that they had the standard OBD connector, and didn't require the 10 pin conversion cable, that it had a standard OBD interface plug somewhere under the tupperware. Yet, I found what I believe to be that connector under my pillion seat. So, I assume that I'm going to have to add that cable 10 pin to 16 pin cable to my "BMW Tool" shopping list. Did I miss something here? Is that standard 16 ping port used on the shiftcams? The Wethead GS only? Link to comment
wbw6cos
That is the harness plug for the 49 L top case (electrified) for central locking and auxiliary LED brake light. The OBD connector is located behind the panel on right side where the battery is located. It has a retainer to keep it from moving. 1 Link to comment
Scott9999
.... and cause I removed that top case just two months ago, I know that. Or I did. Senility sucks (almost as badly as pure stupidity). I could have been really creative and just pulled the cover off the right panel, but ...uh... asking dumb questions was easier. Thx for being polite with the answer, William. 1 1 Link to comment
