TDC Alignment Pin

Hey guys,

 

Can anyone confirm if the TDC Alignment Pin (83302327790) will work on the R1250 engine? This is the part number I found people using on the Wetheads. Haven't been able to find a different number for the Shift Cam.

Thanks for confirming. I've seen the video and tried to purchase one from him before I went with the OEM tool. It'll be nice to have the OEM tools. I plan on keeping this bike for a very long time and then if I get rid of it I can sell them. Who knows, maybe BMW will decide to stop selling the tools like they did the service manuals. They could become collectibles lol.

I hear ya.   I bought the OEM tool for TDC along with the cam alignment jig.   Brad sold me one of his DIY cam chain tensioners, which I will be using in another 5,000 miles, or so.

Boxflyer...For those of us without access to a lathe, are these tools available for purchase?

They will be after the START Rally when I make more kits. 
What I have made up now are just for those that attend in Blairsville, GA.
