R1200rt shocks fit r1200st

Just bought a 2005 R1200St and am looking at new shock options.  Found a set of performance shocks from a 2006 R1200Rt.   Will they fit the ST?  With the limited number of STs on the road, it’s hard finding reasonably priced replacement shocks.

First off, my parts book shows different part numbers between the motorcycles you mentioned. Might be minor difference or major difference.

 

Then you have the RT sub models & options like lowered suspension, ESA/no ESA,  & police bike option, these all used different struts. 

 

You might start by calling the builder/supplier of the shocks that you are looking at & get their (informed)  opinion.
