My bad. I had KS on the paper but didn't type it in! dopeslap.gifdopeslap.gif

What would the UN be w/o KS??? OTOH If I didn't have to ride across KS then the UN would be 400 miles closer. clap.gifclap.gif

Hope to have a chance to meet all 91 of you (I've already met myself coming and going).

Not important enough to start another thread, and not nearly as cool as the map...

Never-the-less, always fun to play with spreadsheet pivot tables...

I don't see a catalytic converter on that bad boy.

Don't make me come over there and smack you around.

So do I put the pipe on the Buell before or after the unrally? What do you think Ken? It's here, it's in my living room...

And a spark arrester! We don't want you starting any forest fires when you take that Kahuna on the jeep roads and trails!

Before! Absolutely before. I've already got a vance & hines on mine. This was a "downgrade" from the way too loud D&D.

Agree.

My 1150GS came with the stock cat+can and a Two Brothers Racing "Y" pipe (cat eliminator) and can. The TBR setup is a whopping 21 pounds lighter than the stock (8 pounds versus 29 tongue.gif) and of course I had to put that bad boy on the bike to see what the difference was.

I think it revs faster, and the weight differential probably makes a slight difference, but DAMN that thing is loud! I even did a re-pack kit on it, no discernible difference. I've enjoyed playing the Hooligan on my $15,000 motorsickle with a loud pipe, but after about 30 minutes of riding at highway speeds it makes my ears ring, even with earplugs in. So last night the TBR came off and the cat+can went back on. I can barely hear it running, and can hear the injectors clicking, birds singing, friendly people wave with all their fingers now....

Quiet pipes ROCK!

Look at all the bikes that jump out when the pic is lightened up a little! grin.gif
