RPG
I've had a Marsee bag for several years on my 2004 R1150RT. Likes: Uses a ring to lock into place No contact with the tank Easily removed and installed Dis-likes: It's a bit wide so turning the handlebars to the left sometimes presses the horn button The left side pocket can't be used as it again, interferes with the horn button when turning left Map pocket is way too small and not rectangular shaped So I'm looking at a replacement and the SW-Motech line looks promising. https://www.cyclegear.com/accessories/sw-motech-quick-lock-ion-15-22l-tank-bag?sku_id=1761502 Was wondering if it's a bit narrower and overall, what the quality is like. Thanks so much Link to comment
Lowndes
RPG, I don't know anything about the Marsee tank bags, but I am very pleased with the Givi bag. It has excellent build quality (water "resistant " zippers, attention to the details), very well designed, expandable, very easy to remount with their gas-cap ring mounting system (just throw it up there), and it presses your horn button for you, too!! Works well on my '99 RT and S, plus the '00 K12RS. The gas cap on my ST is way too far forward so I "mount" it in the R side bag. https://www.cyclegear.com/accessories/givi-xs307-xstream-tanklock-15l-tank-bag?rrec=true&sku_id=899487 1 Link to comment
