Rattling Wind Shield on R1250RS

I'm looking to see if others have experienced this problem, and if anyone has come up with a fix.

 

The windshield on my bike rattles when starting out at low revs. The problem is poor fit between the aluminum pins and the plastic frame that the shield attached to.

Had the same problem on my '06 RT. The holes were oversize for the pins used. I ended up cutting up some soft plastic tubing and squeezed it in around two of the four pins. It wasn't easy but it reduced the rattle greatly.

Thank you for the idea. I'll give it a try; I've got some thin plastic or rubber at home and will check it out when I get home from my ride.
