StephenL
Hi, my R1200RT 2005 speedo stopped working whilst riding in Manchester, very stop start. Any ideas? Oh, forgot to mention my bike has a disconnected ABS Link to comment

Oh, forgot to mention my bike has a disconnected ABS Evening StephenL Lots of possibilities on this one, probably the place to start is to make sure that you don't have a wheel speed sensor wire rubbing on the left front brake rotor. With a disconnected ABS that could effect the speed signal (depends on how it was disconnected). Otherwise you probably need to get a GS-911 on that motorcycle & check the front & rear speed signals. Dave Glen
I've found a bad battery (low voltage) kicks off the Speedo failure as well as the cruise. I fitted a new battery problem gone. I have also done the absectomy leaving the electronic unit. Dave Glen Australia 2005 R1200RT Link to comment
