Throttle reset after battery change

Hello

I just changed the battery in my 2007 1200rt and remember something about a throttle reset being needed after a battery change. Is this necessary and what is the proper way to reset the throttle?

I've had a odyssey PC 680 for the last five years and decided to try the O'reilly super start battery this time. Hope it works out well.

Turn key on, don’t start. Open and close throttle fully 2-3 times. Turn key off. You’re done.
