Polo Posted July 18, 2021 Share Posted July 18, 2021 Hello, As way of re-introduction, I have been around since 2002. I took a break from riding last 2014, back on last summer 2020. Got me a 2011 R12RT, and a smile again. I can't, find (or have forgotten how to look, which is worse) a shorter or smaller windshield for my 2011 R1200RT. I would like to get more air to my torso. Is there something like that out there? Link to comment
The Rocketman Posted July 18, 2021 Share Posted July 18, 2021 Cee Bailey made a 22" Sport Shield, which should be a couple of inches shorter than your stock one. It was also only 15" wide (about 6" narrower than OEM). Unfortunately they stopped making windshields a few years back, so you have to look around for a used one. Link to comment
BrianM Posted July 19, 2021 Share Posted July 19, 2021 I used my RTs(97, 11) primarily for commuting. In hot weather I just removed the windshield. I did not do much long distance high speed riding with it removed. Might give it a try and see how it is. Link to comment
