We stay at the Red Hill Motel operated by Patty Holder. You may reach her at 530 623 4331. She's usually around afternoons and evenings until 8 pm Pacific time. Rates are reasonable and there is a nice center court where we all hang out. Downtown Weaverville is a short walk. Museums, the Joss House and restaurants in this pretty little mountain community. The riding is varied and good. In addition to riding and the aforementioned attractions are numerous opportunities for hiking and other outdoor activities. I'll get some routes and photos up in the next few days.

0I been doing a New Year's Day (Penguin Ride) Ride every year since 2001. I used to do it with my local club, but I rather have lunch with some of you guys.
So I decided it is time to go for a ride and called a place in Hahira, GA and they are open.
Join me if you can, rumor has it that maybe Terry may warm up the GSA.

0We returning back to Cedar Key this year for the 22nd Annual Cedar Key Luncheon Started by @tallmanand @Kinsley.
I have reserved seating at 2nd Street Cafe/Steamers in Cedar Key for Saturday January 24, 2026 @11:30 AM.
2nd Street Cafe and Steamers have merged since the hurricane and a fire destroyed most of the beachside buildings.
The menus of both restaurants have merged.
I would like a RSVP, a simple reply to this post or a PM, as I promised the manager a head count for the lunch.
