Skywagon Posted January 22, 2021 Share Posted January 22, 2021 Pastor Tom....Welcome. This board will be a great source of info for you. I would write Michelin and ask...but here is my understanding. The GT's have a stiffer side wall. The purpose of a stiffer side wall is to handle more weight...so I am told. I'm not a tire expert by any means, just what I've read. I have been running Michelin GT tires on my last 3 BMW bikes. I get exceptionally good wear and service from them. They are probably the most expensive and to 9Mary7 questions there are other choices besides Michelin that people love.
