Think about this the next time you eat a cannoli

Cannoli definitely came with the Arab conquest of Sicily, but I am skeptical of the phallic association because in Arabic they are called "Zaynab's fingers," Zaynab being a woman's name. Two years ago I took a course in Arabic cookery, and most of the recipes we worked with, including Zaynab's fingers, came from a 13th century Syrian cookbook.

Was the name during the 10th century Zaynab's Fingers?, I dunno, but, all you gotta do is look at an non-circumcised example to see the comparison.

Just saw on the news this morning that Oscar Mayer is looking to hire some college kids to drive their mobile across country this summer. Wouldn't that be a blast!
I would do it for free!
