Balibeemer
With the tupperware off my R 1150RTP, I would like to clean all the "hidden bits" . Obviously, a steam cleaner / fire hose is out of the question. Any advice? Link to comment
wbw6cos
Whenever I am in the cleaning supplies area of a retail store, I am always on the lookout for another brush to use on my R 12 C, which has spoke wheels. The other day I found one of these, which you can use to dip in soapy solution to get in to some of the nooks and crannies. The tip is coated to minimize gouging. Just a suggestion. Hosstage
As far as cleaning solution, sometimes I use brake cleaner, sometimes Simple Green with a brush, sometimes soap and water, sometimes Dawn dish detergent and water, all depends on what I'm trying to remove and where. A friend of mine uses Wisk laundry detergent on his whole bike. Strips the wax, but his bikes always look great. He is a little obsessive about cleaning and waxing. Link to comment
taylor1
S101 Can spray it on electrics, won't hurt paint . Really makes short work of grease and grime. Made for motorcycles. Link to comment
