I like it but I'm more interested in the hood over the Nav V.  Where did you come by that?

I made it myself, it's a vent pipe rain collar (see link below). It works great and it's cheap if you don't like it toss it and start over. Make it larger with scissors and then just wedge it in there, then remove it and fine tune/trim it. Blocks the sun glare nice.

I'm assuming you know that you can have your digital speed displayed right on the bikes dash?

I do, but having to turn off the radio to see it is beyond stupid on BMW's part. This works nice as it's up high and in your line of sight.

Thanks.. the HUD in my car works great. HUD in hog was ok but helmet HUD was incredible

P.S.  how are the brakes doing?

Well for having my fourth set, they've been good and dry. I know any day I'll see the leaking start but for now I've been enjoying being able to ride now out in the Arizona warm Winter weather.

This is what I used for the mount. You will also need a longer stainless steel screw M5 - 0.8 x 30mm, a stainless washer and lock washer, and a drop of Lock-tight. I also put some double-sided tape on it to keep it in place. Along with the Ram Mount items. Cost was around $60.00.

Funny I was going to ask the same as reg26 but they your response reminded me that I too don't like losing the big speedo when the radio is on.   This looks like an interesting option and having the phone there would work with my weather app too!   Does that speedo app use cell service thereby requiring service ?

Yes, I think so. It works great and it's so much easier to see your speed at a quick glance.

Hey Guys,

Just an update for a different speedometer app I've been using. It has way more than just the speed showing at the same time, like Google maps, a compass, your speed and even a I-Pod player. The speed numbers are easy to read and it works great after you get it set up which is a pain but not too bad.
