Does anyone know if the rear drive ratio is different on these two models? Or any 1200?

Just looked at my RT-P pricing form.   No difference.   But there is no speed limiter and the Speedo is calibrated.

Parts fiche shows two available drive ratios, standard 2.75:1 and an Alternate Conversion Ratio, option X585A, at 2.82:1.  

 

The answer to the question probably depends on who placed the order.  I think the lower ratio has been the traditional authority bike preference, for improved acceleration.
