beemerboy
Was talking with Beemergirlfriend last night and splainin' the atmosphere at the first UnRally. Many questions and splainin's later it became apparent that this rally will be a tad different as the HQ's at a hotel, not a campground, and thus not likely to have an area conducive to sitting around a campfire whilst drinking barley pop and/or partaking in other vices. Any thoughts as to where we'll socialize? Will we be eating pizza inside or outside? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Link to comment
Tasker
Randy, socializing will take place at both locations, as well as restaurants and other locations in the Gunnison area. As has been the case at previous UnRally events, you will have some of the attendees ride over to the KOA, and others might wonder over to the HEI. The point of haiving two catered dinners this year at a common location is to foster more "togetherness", as is the offer for KOA campers to be able to purchase breakfast each morning at the HIE ($5 per person, per morning, payale during registration). All of the UnRally events have offered camping and hotel accomodations, so it is a matter of deciding when and where you choose to have your fun! Link to comment
PhillyFlash
There will be a fairly large contingent camping at the KOA. I'm sure there will they will be socializing in the evening there as well. Maybe even some of the hotelies will hang out there, too. Bring your sippin whiskey and your ceegars. The opportunity will be there. Link to comment

Does this mean the nice folks running the hotel won't mind it I/we decide to build a big fire out in the parking lot? Link to comment
leikam
Not at all. In fact, they've volunteered the lobby in case of rain so that's nice. Link to comment
