Anyone use Discord for chatting with cardo and sena headsets?  Seems like a simple way to connect them.

Presuming this is a regular app store find?

Hey everyone!  Definitely in for START (had a blast last year in Sept and can't wait to do it again!).  New tires are on, got one more Farkle to install, Dr. Twisty has set my Nav straight and the time off has already been submitted. . .can't wait!!!

Best,

Yes it is on app store. Uses internet for connection. Used a lot in gaming.

Nothing like a little prodding to nudge riders into action! 2 of the 4 Clean Living Hoosiers stopped by for a 12K service.

5pm start time, mix in good old high school friends, dinner and the next thing you know is it's 1am! Indy Scott just needed brake fluid changed, so he was in and out before 10pm.

This looks like a typical scene at a road works repair site in Ireland…

1 guy working (kinda) and all the others standing around leaning on their shovels. HaHa!

I wish I could have been there to help.

When I come to this years START, I'll be bringing my bike lift so I don't have to crawl around on the ground.

I'm also bringing 2 pop-up tents, a couple of tables and light stands to work into the dark if needed.

Since there have been several previous references to some nice sounding beverages and smokes…I'm bringing my own NAB (Non-Alcoholic Beer).

Mike, you know they’ll continue to make work forever. ;)

My plan is to truck it (no really truck it) :classic_biggrin: down to Meadowview Va. on Monday and snooze at a truck stop there. Wake and drive the last hundred to Little Switzerland and unload the bike. I’ve got a nice 100 + mile day ride mapped out to find Douglas Falls on Tuesday and then on to MV Wednesday.

edit

Oops, map trick didn’t work.

Now those are purty!! Those make me want to go out and carve some corners. Is it sad that I appreciate a good looking set of tires almost as much as a nice paint job?

It’s a guy thing. ;)

As mentioned in the daily driver thread I have new tires on my truck. I’ve got more compliments on the tires (than ever imagined). I was kind of surprised.

Funny, same thing happened with my truck, mostly a good running pos with brand new tires. More than one person said I just doubled the value of it! They are not far off.

The only feedback Bernie gets with his tires is about the cords showing through part.   Am I right?

It is nice to see his tires in that condition, I must admit.

Oh well they are not shiny anymore.

I had nice 200 mile scuff in ride. 100 miles to the two curves and a 100 back home. 🤣

Lost a couple of screws. The spoiler is staying home. It brought a minor improvement in air flow and an increase in wind noise.

I wonder if there is a speed where those holes will whistle...

Indy Dave,  Thanks for this little morsel of what's to happen next week. Work has had me teetering on coming or not due to (blah blah blah blah)!

Needless to say, this has got me excited and anxious for the next 200 hours to roll by :5188:

I don't know, that road must have had at least a 1/4 mile of straight spots, total, not in one go. Can't you find one that's a little more curvy?  :4323:

NC 28 is one of the great motorcycle/sportscar roads anywhere, it begins in Walhalla, SC (for this purpose) and ends at Deal's Gap near the Tenn line. There are four distinct, different sections. Mountain Rest to Highlands (gains 2500 feet in elevation), Highlands to Franklin (back downhill with heavy traffic at times but sublime when clear, Buck Creek Rd is a very good alternative), Franklin to US74, and Stecoah to Deal's Gap along the lake. There are plenty of others in the area but none as long or varied as 28.

@TSConver The General rule is... that this would have also been posted on the first post in the START thread. But, when I just went there to look for it, I notice that I Bumbled and didn't double poet it there - so apologizes! :4617:
