oilhead1100s1150rt
Good Day all, I am not trying to start an "oil thread debate" but would like to ask for a recommendation for new plugs on my 2003 r1100sa single spark. I am finally getting back to getting this bike on the road after ABS issues and my own health problems that caused delay. I have always utilized the Bosch plugs in the past, but have perused this forum and others and have got enough info to be undecided. I would appreciate any feedback , thanks! Dave Link to comment
AZgman
Autolite 3923 gets my vote. Much less surging with this plug in use. Link to comment

dave_a
I honestly don't think it makes much difference as long as the plug is the right one for the bike. Platinum buys you longer service life. I've got not too exotic Autolites ($4) in mine. Took out a Bosch multi ground prong fine wire. The center electrode was worn lower that the insulator. I thought it may have been worn out. Bike ran fine with both plugs. I'm an NGK guy at heart, a Champion would be my last choice. Fouled a lot of them in 2 strokes back in the day. But what do I know??? Link to comment
