Its time to sell my 2004 BMW R1150R and more on to another project.  This bike is in perfect shape and ready to be ridden anywhere.  I bought it with the intent of riding it on several long trips with friends this year but then Covid hit and plans were changed.  Only thing that the bike could use are new tires in the spring.  Starts right up, idles at 1,100 rpm and doesn't have any surging.

While preparing for the trip, I went through nearly EVERYTHING on this bike and have replaced/upgraded many components.  Here is the list of maintenance or upgraded items in the past 4 months/1,500 miles:

New Fluids - Oil, Transmission, Final Drive (Amsoil Full Synthetic)

Air Filter

Fuel Filter & tank gaskets

In addition to the bike, I have a handful of parts that can go with the bike or be sold separately.

Bud,

I cannot say for sure.  I pulled the fuel pump earlier this year and replaced the filter and the screen.  The lines looked good when I was in there.  The fuel line disconnects have been upgraded to metal ones by the previous owner along with newer fuel lines to the disconnects.

Since my original posting, I have also converted the bike to non-abs and swapped the tokico calipers with brembo units.  Brake lines were flushed with new DOT 4 fluid in both the front and the rear at that time.
