Designed for sustainability maybe, riding, not so much.

I like the concept of using sustainable, renewable materials.  But one problem with many of them is that animals, rodents in particular, like to eat them.  Cars have been made with soy-based wiring insulation, for example, and people living in rural or semi-rural areas have had rats or mice chew them up.

Next will be a bike made of chocolate, if you break down in the middle of nowhere you probably won't mind having to eat your bike. Course it could be a problem leaving it in the parking lot and having parts eaten off it. Or ordering parts from Hershey.
