Does anyone know if the mirrors from a hexhead will work on a camhead if I add the ball shaped studs for it to snap onto?

I do not know but you might try calling Beemer Boneyard as they are pretty darn helpful.

The answer is YES they will fit.

I don't know if the differences matter in regards to whether they fit or not, but the Hexhead (2005-2009) and the Camhead (2010-2013) RTs have different part numbers for all those parts (even the mirrors themselves). I know the Hex assemblies had a strap and the Cams don't, so maybe that's the only way they differ. Just be advised that the parts numbers ARE different and so they might not fit.

As stated by another poster, the Camhead does bolt on vs the earlier hexhead just snaps into place. Unless you have both on hand and try it out it will be hit and miss. I'm sure someone might have come across this and hopefully they will chime in.

you must have the 2 extra spherical studs to make it work.
