jjpen
WHERE CAN I HIDE A SPARE KEY ON MY 2010 RT? Link to comment
Danny caddyshack Noonan
They hide very well in the trunk release cylinder whenever I can't find mine!! Seriously though, you could look for a metal case (Hidakey?) and glue some rare earth magnets inside a difficult to reach part of the fairing. Not sure if there would be negative impact to the performance of key sensor though. 1 Link to comment
TEWKS
On trips, I’ll keep a spare key in my interior Aerostich pocket. I forget about it until I return. No worries that a snoopy crook gets lucky and rides off on my parked bike. Link to comment
RoadRunner
Pop off one of your mirrors and there are places to hang it. :-) Link to comment
jjpen
If anyone else is interested, my solution was to gently remove the cover where the audio controls would be located on a bike with a radio, which my bike does not have, and zip tie the key and let it hang. Some of the material between the holes must be removed for the key to have room to pass through. My bike had already had the material removed to mount a Clearwater dimmer control. I can hook my fingernails under the cover and remove it without any tools to give me access to the key. Link to comment
