Glacier_g_rt
Has anyone out there had any luck with making old side cases look better? Just bought a Topcase from the classifieds here that is like new. The sidecases on my '96 R1100RT being 10 years old look shabby in comparison. Any suggestions to make them look newer? Tried auto polish, didn't work. Thanks. Link to comment

Mike_F
Also you could do a coat of bedliner on it. Link to comment
brennaman
I had a saddlebag fall off of my bike at about 80 mph and go sliding down the hiway. Needless to say it was a little scuffed up. It really looked bad, so I took some 440 grit sandpaper and sanded it all down. When I was finished I showed a guy at work, and he had no idea which one had fallen off the bike. It will make it a little smoother, so it reflects light a little more, so I did the other saddlebag, and you can't tell anything was done. It was very little time to get them looking brand new again.
