Should be a good ride up Ron and Dave, weather is FINALLY looking good for one of these.

That is if William doesn't bring the nasty stuff with him. Just kidding William......mostly.

Besides, I do not want my helmet to get wet.  If you know what I mean.  :4323:

There is a Laundromat with a commercial dryer in Cordele William. :3:

IN!

All USGA (Gymnastic Events have been canceled for March 2020 due to COVID-19.

Elfriede (my better half) thinks I should go riding, as long as you guys don’t sneeze, cough or touch me. LOL

See you all at lunch, I try not to be late.

Good deal Bernie!!  As Terry pointed out, I will be bringing the good weather, which should be getting the mind set for START.  Spring is around the corner everybody.  The smell of dogwood blossoms are in the air.  Pollen, need I say more?

Sad to say I've been locked in the house for over a week and will not be able to make this lunch.  84 in about 6 weeks so I've been told to be very careful and for once I'm going to listen.  You kids have a great lunch.

I never had a doubt William would deliver on his promise to bring good weather, nope, not for a minute. Well done @wbw6cos

And an 81° mid-March day to boot. The Florida boys should feel right at home. :18:

Great turnout for the last SECFF Winter 2019-2020 Lunch, I believe around Fifteen (15). Thirteen (13) of us actually ate lunch together, there were two (2) late arrivals, yep William, @wbw6cos, somehow ended up toward Columbus after posting..........

Don't know if he left his helmet in the dryer too long and it shrank or.....I'll let him explain...

Our waitress tried to get everyone in the shot...bless her heart. Good to see everyone, been a long time Bill (Highway 41) and Ken (KDeLine). Always great to see the Florida riders, wonderful group. Tim (60Aviator) from Alabama representing that great State.

Still looking lost though. Just on the other side of Columbus is another time zone so maybe factoring in that extra hour......

Good catch Randy. Corrected.

I am not sure who is more offended -- Joel or Chris?  Actually, the answer is: neither of them.  They are both so low key and easygoing, they probably had a good laugh at that!  Joel does wish, though, that he had that mustache. . . .

Chicken finger plate with Vidalia Onion Ring (cooked rather well, I must say) and some baked beans.  Call me what you want, but don't call me late to dinner.

'

Great ride down, if I must say so myself.  Leisurely pace.  Hmmm'

Spirited ride headed back following Chris and Lowndes on a prescribed route that I had no control over (THANKS Ken!!)  HA

@terryofperry   by the way, I was aware that you were taking a picture, but never realized the story to follow.  ABSOLUTLEY freaking hilarious!  It was almost like it was planned to pose that way.  Keep up the fun stuff Terry.  As long as you (or others) can chuckle about it, I will enjoy it too.

Kudos!!  Still smiling about that post.

AND my helmet stayed dry today.  So I got that going for me, which is nice.

Great time today. It was kind of nice to have a shorter ride today. Two hours vs the usual four that you guys insist on scheduling. :4323:   Thank you for all the well wishes with the new 1250.  (thanks Terry) Good to see everyone.   On to START.

Oh ya. I was hoping to talk with William about a few 1250 nuances but he got there just in time for us to leave.  Something about being stopped by the same train twice.  :4317:

I might add that a 2 mile long train delayed us. Moving at about 45 mph and then at the second crossing, it was slowing to a stop.  A long stop.  Long.    It was so long, it had an engine in the middle of it.  Container train, with a quite a bit of empty cars.  So why the second engine?    Oh, the humanity.    :ohboy:

Yeah, that is our story and we are sticking to it.  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

That happens sometimes with Chris and Lowndes!  Sorry I missed the festivities.  Hope none of you come down with the virus after dining together is such close proximity.

HA.  Lowndes and I missed all the dining together as we arrived a few minutes late to the lunch.  Just a few minutes.

Part of that route was an attempt to GS my RT as the gravel got a little intense in some areas.  Oh, my.
