BobW03
Has anyone looked at or tried the updated Roadsmart 2 tires; price is about 160.00 for a pair. I read about these from my friends with the Concours14. That bike really eats tires and several who have used them are very happy. RogerC60
I put a set of RS II on my '03 R1150RT a little over 6000 miles ago. They replaced a set of PR3s. Since I'm relatively new to motorcycling those are the only tires I have to compare. In my experience the RS II are as good at the PR3 in every way except one: the RS II seem more squirmy on tar snakes. I've ridden in hot and cold weather, rain and dry, and the RS II perform well in all situations. My riding is typical commuting, mostly on highways. But I have taken the bike on some moderately aggressive curvy road riding and the RS II gripped very well. Here's what they look like after my 6000+ miles: Link to comment
RogerC60
Update on my Dunlop Roadsmart II (2) tires. After 10600 miles I just replace the front tire today. Here's the old and new Roadsmart II side-by-side: The rear is wearing surprisingly well. I believe I'll get another few thousand miles out of it. Link to comment
