R1200RT Beacon Switch??

Saw this ad on Craigslist today for a regular '09RT. What caught my eye was what was in place of the heated grip switch; a 360-degree "Beacon" switch? Thought it was a joke, but it even has a different symbol than the squiggly heat lines on my heated grip switch. Any ideas?? Think it was just taken off an RT-P but just controls the grip heat?

That would be my guess, the switch rocker just snaps in so it could easily have been a less expensive RT-P switch rocker installed in place of the original.

Yep....

Seller said "The original on and off switch broke so I had to buy another one got it off of eBay and it came off of a motorcycle cops bike so that is the heated grips switch on a normal bike."
