BMW Navigator GPS Install Question

I want to add a BMW Navigator GPS (#72607685838) to my 2004 R1150RT. The GPS wiring harness has a 3-pin connector (see below). Does the connector plug into the bike’s wiring harness? If not, does BMW make an adapter to connect power to the GPS?

 

If there's no connector on my wiring harness, then I'd like to hard wire the GPS base to 12V power.  Anyone know which pin is positive or negative. Also, what's the purpose of the 3rd pin?

Take a look at the repair harnesses for the K1200LT (the bike the Nav unit is from).

You might be able to use one of those and then connect it to a switched power source to power up the GPS (maybe from the unused radio harness in front of the lefthand glove box).
