Dang it...they just don't make stuff that last anymore.  My Weller WP 25P soldering iron I bought in 1984 stopped working.  A mere 36 years later and it gave up

Now on the hunt for another one.  Guess what...they don't make the same one anymore.  Looks like the new improved version is the WP 35 or WP 25.  They don't look the same but probably just as good.  If a new one last another 36 years someone will inherit it. 

 

Other than Weller any recommendations?  I already have a gun, an iron with a station, a micro torch, and a torch....but this is my go to iron that I use 99% of the time.
