Kick stand kill switch

I have a 99 R1100R. I put a hack on it, and I didn’t have a need for the kickstand, obviously. I removed the switch from the kickstand and reattached the wire so the bike will start. My question is, can I just put the two wires together so I won’t have to find a good place to stow the kill switch?

Sure, no problem. With no side stand there is no need to keep the factory switch. Just hook the wires together with a non-failing moisture proof connection.
