Colorado Dreaming

Visiting my son at his place in Aspen.

 

Took a little loop trip.

 

Got a chance to wear off more than the center of my tires.

 

Rode over Keebler Pass to Crested Butte. Temps dropped a little.

 

Had a nice lunch at The Last Steep.

 

Had a fantastic ride over Cottonwood Pass on brand new asphalt with little traffic.

 

Then rode along the Taylor River. 

 

Then back over Independence Pass to Aspen.

Now that sure beats the heck out of your last ride tale!  

Yup, gotta figure out a way to make my Colorado Dreamings a reality sometime soon.

It appears the leaves are late this year, should be good well into October.

 Went back this morning to look for it with absolutely no luck. Grrrrrr.  Nancy is flying into Denver this evening and is bringing a spare phone alone with her so I will have service.
