LBump Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 I just wonder how Molly and Benny's first kid is doing after eleven years... 1
AZgman Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Will "prick" be there? Not to be critical, but do you consider Barstow "close to the coast"?
lawnchairboy Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 No one can argue that Barstow does not posses international cache' and charm. and meth labs. 1

AZgman Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Plus Barstow is so cool in July... my HD riding buddies refer to it as "barstool"
Bud Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 When being placed in the oven, the turkey said "Don't worry about me, it's a dry heat"
Marty Hill Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 Assume it will be on the coast so some get to complain about the cold mornings.
92232 Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 At least Barstow is cooler than Phoenix, AZ.
Endobob Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 I thought this was the “Hint” Eddd was referring to.😄
BrianT Posted September 14, 2019 Posted September 14, 2019 I wanna drink with that dude in the video. He looks like he knows how to party! 1
eddd Posted September 15, 2019 Author Posted September 15, 2019 More exciting things to do and see in Barstow...Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch 2
Matts_12GS Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 At least it will be hotter than Miami so I can look forward to riding home
eddd Posted September 16, 2019 Author Posted September 16, 2019 The Barstow Chamber of Commerce has sweetened the pot with a promise of a rainbow as we arrive! This one was recently captured on Skyline Drive.
eddd Posted September 16, 2019 Author Posted September 16, 2019 Too far to ride your bike? Not to worry! Barstow is a transportation hub. Load your bike on a flat car and catch a flight. You'll arrive rested and raring to go, and your bike will be close at hand since the motel we will be using is right next to the rail yard! Barstow , California...a popular town in a popular state. 1
AZgman Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Holy crap Eddd... that rainbow ends at a pyramid! Cosmic!
Dennis Andress Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 I'm saddened by what Barstow has become. It was a thriving agricultural hub in the early 80s when I was stationed in Atwater.
eddd Posted September 17, 2019 Author Posted September 17, 2019 Even with all there is to see and do in Barstow some people will still want to enjoy a day ride. Well not to worry! Just jump on scenic I-40 and head east. In just about two hours you will be in beautiful Needles, California! What a great place for lunch before you hop back on "the 40" and see the interstate from a completely different perspective! What fun!
MikeB60 Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 There is also a heavy metal playground just 40 miles north of Barstow. 1000 square miles of paradise! 2

Bob, Barstow is in the Southern part of the state. A go to place... Here is an example of a pool at one of the fine hotels. 1

The Hearst Castle pool is beautiful, and the location on the coast would be nice, and it is far enough away from Barstow to be an acceptable location even though I would prefer northern CA. I have seen a few of our dirt riding members with similar mud faces after a few of their rides.
KTM Doug Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Not mud but a little blood never hurt anyone. It did get me a trophy however. Rat Dog Dual Sport ride near Tillamook, OR. 71 on this ride. 3
mrduck Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 I heard they found a great steak and eggs place for breakfast! 1 1
