Re: Hurricane Harvey 2 years later

Hard to believe 2 years ago Harvey was here.  We had 54 inches of rain in about 30 hours.  We were fortunate as my house was the only house on the street that didn't' flood.  We had 5 families seek refuge from our block and stay with us for about the next 3-4 weeks.  It was crowded but we were dry and thankful as we faired well while millions didn't.  Amazingly today we actually wished it would rain some here.

 

For those facing Hurricane Dorian this weekend we wish you all the best.  Take care and shelter.
