neil_wilcox Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 I installed the fuel strip emulator from HPoskam engineering recently while I was doing a brake flush ( 2005 RT ) and had the gas tank off. My fuel strip failed years ago and I was tired of looking at the yellow warning triangle all the time while riding. The little device is a plug and play install and it worked perfectly in a matter of about 20 seconds after turning on the ignition. Now the fuel level always shows full and the miles to empty are displayed again. Of course, I have to use the tripmeter in order to monitor my fuel range but I had already been doing that for a long time and I was used to doing that with older bikes anyway. A big thanks to whoever mentioned this device on this forum in the past. Neil Wilcox
Beech Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Got this off another forum from a very knowledgeable fellow. Looks like a solution to the fuel strip problem. https://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php/509657-Fuel-strip-to-float-conversion-complete-guide
