Route Planning Resource for the Midwest

Recommended Posts

The Driftless Area, which comprises parts of four Midwest states, is a fantastic area for riders. There are miles and miles of lightly traveled twisty roads through scenic valleys and ridges.

I recently came across a website operated by rated by a husband and wife team who has ridden and mapped some great routes. You can download individual map files for free, purchase their entire set of 33 routes on a microSD, or buy individual maps on tear and water-resistant paper. https://driftlessroadadventures.com/

Its worth a look look if you’re anywhere near, or if you’re planning a trip there. I’ve attached a shot of one of their routes that near our cabin in Prairie du Chien, WI. It’s truly a great riding area. I hope to host a gathering there soon.

The UnRally was held in Wisconsin a few years ago.  Ed led us on a great ride the one full day I was there.

Even though he ran off and left us at one point.
