Alba
I have removed all the ABS components, connected the front system using a copper connector motorworks sells and bleed both left and right caliper until there are no bubbles from either side. Both calipers are shimmed such the pistons are fully in, the odd thing is with a good squeeze I'm able to get the brake lever almost touching the hand grip. Does this indicate that i still have air in the system even though at the calipers there is no bubbles? Thanks for any guidance. Link to comment

Evening Alba Possibly air in the system but if no air bubbles then probably not. It might be (probably is) just the old rubber brake hoses expanding as the brake pressure increases. If so this is not a good situation as the brake hoses are probably on borrowed time. Link to comment
