r1150 gs tail piece replacement options

Well on my first off road ride this piece broke in three places. It's the piece the tail trunk bolts on. What is it called and is there a metal aftermarket piece. I went through some tough terrain with big rocks and wash outs. I felt about half way up the hill that it was a bad idea.

I believe that is called a  luggage carrier or luggage porter.
