EvilTwin
I've noticed looking at photos online that some RT's have a bezel over the instrument cluster and others dont. I like the look of them and it may help a small bit with the glare issue. Looks like wunderlich has one as an aftermarket add on in silver or black. Being a bit of a cheapskate/diy type, I also saw a reference to using one off a K1200GT. It looks like that one could me trimmed to fit and I'm thinking held on with some double sided tape. Has anyone tried this out? Here is one currently on the bay: Link to comment

(Go back & look in the hexhead archives on this site). It was done mostly to try to improve the glare issues in reading the dash as it really didn't look that great (well to a lot of us 1200RT owners anyhow as the fit wasn't perfect). It didn't work all the good to reduce glare either. I had a friend that installed the K1200GT bezel & he just drilled a couple of extra holes to do so. I know that some just used 2 sided tape to install but & haven't ever seen that install so I don't know how tidy it looked.
