Headlights

I am new owner of 2008 1200rt. Discovered today headlights went out. Is it normal for all lamps to go out at same time?

They tend to go in short order.  I haven't had them both go out simultaneously, but on our two RTs they often go within a day or two of one another.

Thank you. Was wondering if it might be something else. Odd to me that all the lamps would not be working.

The low beams don't work until the engine starts  - was the engine running when you checked?   Not too unusual to lose both low beams at about the same time, but I've never lost a high beam. Are the parking lights working? Turn signals?  All those lights work through a single 6-pin connector on the back of the headlight shell, roughly between the high beam and the right side low beam, might have come loose.

I found problem. It has headlight modulator. Wires worked loose.
