Stan Walker
I'd hate to be here at flood stage! That's water halfway over the road in early April. The Picture in attachment was taken earlier this year during the Branson trip. Link to comment
David
Stan, that reminds me a little of some roads in the Texas Hill country. Link to comment
CMWingfield
Hey Stan, If I'm not mistaken, that is a picture of the Hasty Low water bridge, which connects Hwy 74 with Hwy 123. It's called the Hasty Cutoff, and I've canoed that stretch of the Buffalo river, when the water was such that you couldn't tell there was a road there. Bad karma on a motorcycle when the water's up! For the Unrally, there usually isn't any water over the road in October. Emphasis on "usually"! As a side note, if you go south on Hwy. 123 toward Lurton, many people, including myself think it's one of the best roads in Arkansas. TWISTY!! Mike Link to comment
Stan Walker
Hasty Low water bridge Your not mistaken. I had just come from Eureka Springs and was just riding around. I turned north on 123 after crossing the bridge and headed back to Branson for the IBMWR group dinner (Crab, crab, and more crab). Link to comment
