kruuuzn Posted June 19, 2019 Share Posted June 19, 2019 What's the latest consensus of the reliability of the sensor on the '04 RT? I know they had issues with the sensor wiring on the earlier RTs. Did they get this figured out by 2004? I plan on replacing the alternator belt and wonder if I should address this while I have things apart. Link to comment

Keith_A Posted June 19, 2019 Share Posted June 19, 2019 I have a 2004 R1100S which has the improved wiring and a 2005 R1150RT-P with improved wiring. The best way to tell is to remove the fuel tank and inspect the wiring. See Pix below which describes wiring. Keith Link to comment
