Find Avatar change?

I give up. Well over 30 minutes and I cannot find the place to change my Avatar?

Go to your profile page and you’ll see your avatar in the lower corner...just click on it. Personally vote for keeping the Shelby!

I think I figured it out. At the top of the page.....it is called the "cover photo"? Need to get on the other computer to get the pic I want, but the one posted now is not the original avatar pic so it must be it. I thought "cover photo" was simply for the profile page header.......
